The first presentation will be an overview of Malaysia’s rubber-based automotive components manufacturing industry, by the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MRPEC). We are pleased to include in the programme a presentation by the Malaysian Trade Commissioner to Germany, who will inform you of the activities of Cologne-based MATRADE www.matrade.gov.my which functions as a focal point for Malaysian exporters and foreign importers to source for trade-related information. The programme will also feature a presentation from the Director of the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority www.mida.gov.my (MIDA), also based in Cologne, who will explain the forward-looking Malaysian government policies which provide many fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to companies that decide to invest or reinvest in Malaysia.

The final presentation will explain the role of TARRC and the Malaysian Rubber Board in supporting European companies to develop their business relationships with Malaysian manufacturers including, when necessary, the technical support offered from TARRC’s extensive team of scientists and engineers.

There will be ample opportunity for you to discuss any particular points you may have with speakers and other representatives from the organisations. There will also be representatives from Malaysian automotive component exporters if you wish to meet with them after the seminar. Any company planning to source products from outside the EU or is interested in investment in Malaysia will find this event highly informative.

The seminar language will be English.

We look forward to your participation at the seminar. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
